VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS & OPPORTUNITIES 28 | For more information call 425-430-6600 or visit Rentonwa.gov In observance of National Day of Service and Remembrance, the City of Renton is partnering with local agencies to provide ser vice oppor tunities for community members throughout the Renton area on Saturday, September 8. If you would like to be a volunteer on Saturday, September 8, 9:00–11:30am then we will find a project for you! Contact Teresa Nishi at 425-430-6694 or tnishi@rentonwa.gov for a list of projects. All volunteers are invited to participate in a celebration picnic following completion of the projects. RENTONWA.GOV/VOLUNTEER Visit the city's website www.rentonwa.gov/volunteer to create a profile through our new online volunteer registration system, CERVIS. From there you will set-up an account, select areas of interest to have volunteering information sent to you, and then register yourself for a one-time event or an on-going/seasonal opportunity for you to participate in a variety of city events! If you have a business or group (no more than 50 people) that would like to volunteer and "adopt a park" for a day, contact Teresa Nishi, tnishi@rentonwa.gov or 425-430-6694.
