Opportunities are in the Police Dept., Emergency Management, Renton History Museum, Recreation, Parks, and more. Check out these and more at rentonwa.gov/volunteer. Create an account, check all your interests and a staff member will contact you with more information about the opportunity. We can match your group to a park project to remove invasive weeds, do litter pick-up, plant flowers or trees, resurface trails and many other potential tasks. Projects can be completed in 2 to 3 hours and scheduled during the week or on a Saturday. Trail Ranger Program "Good Will Ambassadors" for the City The City of Renton is looking for individ- uals 18 and older to serve as Volunteer Trail Rangers to help educate park and trail visitors on rules and regulations, enhance safety awareness, provide information and directions, and watch for vandalism. Spring Green & Clean Saturday, May 18, 8:45–11:30am May Creek Trail 4260 Lake Washington Blvd. The Spring "Green and Clean" Saturday park volunteer project is a great way to help maintain parks for everyone to enjoy. Chil- dren 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Children between ages of 13 to 17 who are not accompanied must have a waiver filled out by an adult.
