Tours The Renton History Museum of fers guided tours for all ages by one month advance appointment. Tours cost $40 for groups of eight or fewer and $5 per person for groups larger than ten (even on free admission days). Chaperones for student or elder groups are free and are highly encouraged. N E W E X H I B I T Sparkle October 22, 2019–March 2020 When feathers, rhinestones, beads, and sequins came to the West pioneer women could start to believe they were living in a cosmopolitan city, part of the rest of the fashion world. Sparkle draws from women's clothing and accessories in the Renton His- tory Museum's collection to tell the story of special occasion fashion in Renton and how it closed the distance to Paris, New York, and San Francisco. C O M I N G U P ! Take a Stand Against Cyberbullying Sat., September 14, 11am–12pm Join the Renton History Museum and Dr. Michelle Bennett for a workshop for parents and educators on the topic of cyberbul- lying. Dr. Bennett currently serves as the Chief of Police for the City of Sammamish.
