Common concerns are letters from the IRS, unfiled tax returns, unpaid taxes and tax savings tech- niques. This service does not include tax preparation. An IRS licensed Enrolled Agent from McClaflin Tax Services LLC provides this free consultation service. Call 425-430-6633 on the first working day of the month for a half hour appointment. Join Daniel from Aging and Disability Services and the City of Seattle as he discusses depression and a little-known no-cost depression program called PEARLS. The PEARLS pro- gram is offered to all seniors 55 and older in King County with a specific focus on people that served in the military, their spouses, or spouse survivors. Wed May 24 7:00–8:30pm CR Sustainable Renton Comes to the Senior Center Sustainable Renton is a non-profit group which uses various gardens around Renton with a goal of providing local organically grown produce for a dona- tion. Members of the group will be here on the first and third Friday providing fresh organically grown produce. Look for their table near the entrance of the Senior Center and check out what they have to offer. A donation is accepted but not expected. Fri June 2, June 16 11:00am–1:00pm Donation Father's Day Luncheon It's the guys' day and were throwing fish just like Seattle Pike Place Market does. Let's see who has the best aim and can throw the fish in the net. There will be a $10.00 gift card for the winner. Gifts for all the guys and dessert for everyone. Join us today to put some color into your house. Each senior will receive a pot with potting soil and then you get to pick out the flowers that you want to plant in it. Renton Lowes will sponsor this event and donate the pots, potting soil and flowers. Register at the front desk by June 14. Wed June 21 10:00am A National Sunglasses Day Wear your Foster Grants, Oakley's, Coach and Maui Jim's today and we'll take a pic- ture of everyone with their sunglasses on, then we'll play ring around the sun- glasses.
