Saturday, May 13, 2017 9:00 am–12 noon Renton Senior Activity Center 211 Burnett Avenue North Topics will include an update on some of Renton's current transportation projects, updates from the Renton School District, and an overview of the exciting changes coming to Renton. Breakfast will be provided. To register please email dhicks@rentonwa.gov or call 425-430-6595 Neighborhood Event Grant – Available Year Round! Neighborhoods who have registered with the Neighborhood Program can apply for neighborhood grant funds (up to $1,000) to host an event that encourages neighbors to gather together and form a more well connected community. Host an outdoor "Screen on the Green" movie night or winter holiday celebration with cocoa and caroling! The Neighborhood Event grant is available year round. Contact us today to learn more on how to apply. The goal of the Neighborhood Program is to build viable partnerships between the City and its residents through neighborhood celebrations, educational forums, and neighborhood grant funding.
