Thanks to KCLS, the Friends of the Renton Libraries, and the Friends of the Fairwood Library Renton Downtown Library Family Story Time Mondays, 10:00am September 11–December 11 Special "City of Renton Road Maintenance Vehicle" Story Time on September 18 No story time on November 13 & 20 All ages welcome, children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Join us for a half hour of songs, finger plays, and stories. Spanish Story Time/ Hora de Cuentos Tuesdays, 10:30am September 5–December 19 Enjoy stories, songs and rhymes in Spanish. All ages and speakers of all languages are welcome! Acompañenos y disfrute de cuentos, canciones y rimas. Para todas las edades, hablantes de todos los idiomas son bienvenidos! Reading with Rover 6:00 pm, September 12, October 10, November 14, December 12 Second Tuesday of every month Ages 6 and older accompanied by an adult. Build reading skills and confidence by reading aloud to a certified therapy dog in a welcoming environment. Reading with Rover is a community-based literacy program working with schools and libraries throughout the greater Seattle area. Renton Highlands Library Family Story Times at the Renton Highlands Library Tuesday mornings at 10:00 & 11:30am and Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm Starting September 12th For families with children 2-8, but all ages welcome. This 30 minute program includes stories, books, songs and puppets. Talk Time Class Saturdays, 10–11:30am begins September 22nd Practice speaking English with other English language learners. Learn about American culture and meet people from around the world. Classes are free, join anytime! Citizenship Class Mondays, 7:00–8:30 pm Beginning September 18 Learn how to become a US Citizen. Study for your interview. Practice the 100 questions. Practice reading, writing, listening and speaking English. KING COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM
