Common concerns are letters from the IRS, unfiled tax returns, unpaid taxes and tax savings techniques. This service does not include tax prepa- ration. An IRS licensed Enrolled Agent from McClaflin Tax Services LLC will pro- vide this free consultation service. Tuesday Oct 10, Nov 14, Dec 12 By Appointment Free Legal Information Free legal information is available to adults 50 years and older on the following topics: Living Trust, Will Guidance (not preparation), Durable Power of Attorney, Health Care Directives, and Medicaid qualification, Real Estate, Landlord/ Tenant Concerns, Consumer Affairs and Accidents. Visits are limited to one per calendar year. Half-hour consul- tation appointments are available. The local Law Office of Dan Kellogg provides this free service. Tuesday Oct 24, Nov 21 By Appointment Neighborhood Legal Clinic Neighborhood Legal Clinic is a service of the King County Bar Association Young Law yer Division, providing free legal information, advice and referrals to the public regardless of income level. They handle a wide variety of legal matters including divorce, real estate, landlord/ tenant, debtor/creditor problems, bank- ruptcy, immigration, consumer affairs, car accidents, wills, estate planning and pro- bate. You will be referred to the nearest neighborhood clinic. Call 206-267-7070, Ext. 1. Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisor (SHIBA) Understanding insurance bene- fits can be dif ficult. A trained volunteer from SHIBA will meet with you privately to answer questions in the areas of Medicare, Medigap, Medicaid and long term care insurance. We are collecting NEW mittens, scarves, gloves and hats for our tree. We'll decorate the tree on December 6 and then donate all the items to Renton charities. We'll take donations until December 4.
