It is designed for the 50 plus age group and all fitness levels. It includes aerobics for cardiovascular health, fat burning and bone density; strength and resistance training to build muscle; stretching to increase flexibility and improve posture; balance for fall prevention; fabulous music and great fun! Your first class is free. Participants work at their own pace. Mondays/Wednesdays 9:15–10:15am LMTG $3 Exercise with the Aid of a Chair This class is designed to keep your joints in good condition, tone muscles and stimulate your circula- tor y system. You are encouraged to exercise at your own pace. No class Nov 10 and 24. Wednesdays/Fridays 10:45–11:30am LMTG Strength and Balance Studies show adults 50 and over who strength train with weights greatly improve their ability to perform their daily activities, increase bone density and metabolism, and improve balance. This class will teach you resistance training using correct form and maintaining good posture. Remember exercising with a friend is a lot more fun…bring one along. Both men and women are encouraged to attend. Class is taught by Peggy Johnson, a Certified Group Fitness Instructor. No class Nov 10, 24 and Dec 25. Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays 1:00–2:00pm A $3 Tai Chi and Qigong Improve your balance and increase your energy level, flexibility, and coordination. Join Instructor Viola Brumbaugh for a blend of eastern exercise for health ben- efits, longevity, and fun. Orientations are required before use and are done on Wednesdays between 9:00am and 2:30pm. Our yoga addresses flexibility and improves circulation, bal- ance, and deeper breathing. Look for sharper brain functioning, better pos- ture and muscle tone as you move to a healthier, happier and more peaceful sense of wellbeing. Tuesdays 9:00–11:00am LL Pickleball If you haven't tried pickle- ball yet, you don't know what you are missing! It is a cross between badminton, tennis and ping pong, very easy to learn and lots of fun to play. It is widely popular in the 50+ com- munities so come on down and join the craze! Starting Oct 18. Closed Dec 6. Wednesdays 5:30–7:30pm A Ping Pong We recently purchased a ping pong table, complete with pad- dles and balls, which is available for play on Wednesdays.
