Sponsorship can provide your company or organization an opportunity to achieve a high degree of visibility within the local communit y. Sponsorship oppor tunities can be for one-time or ongoing programs, activities, or events, which are tailored to a variety of groups, interest, and ages. More info: rentonwa.gov/sponsorships or call 425-430-6600 GREEN & CLEAN Park Volunteer Projects The "Green & Clean" Saturday park volunteer projects are a great way to dig in and help main- tain parks for everyone to enjoy. Volunteers must be 14 and older to participate. Children 14 to 17 who are not accompanied must have a waiver filled out by an adult. To register: rent- onwa.gov/volunteer or call 425.430.6694. SPRING: Saturday, May 12, 8:45–11:30 am Philip Arnold, 720 Jones Ave S SUMMER: Saturday, June 9, 8:45–11:30am Thomas Teasdale 601 S. 23rd St VOLUNTEER TRAIL & PARK RANGER PROGRAM "Good Will Ambassadors" for City Parks and Trails The City of Renton is looking for individuals 18 & older to serve as Volunteer Trail and Park Rangers to help educate park and trail visi- tors on rules and regulations, enhance safety awareness, provide information and direction, watch for vandalism, and act as "Good Will Ambassadors" for the City. Information: 425-430-6600 SUMMER LUNCH RECREATION PROGRAM Do you have free time this summer and want to have fun providing recreation activities to children who attend the Summer Lunch Pro- gram and over the age of 14? Then volunteer at a lunch site that is coordinated with the Renton School District for anyone under the age of 18. Shif ts are at least once a week for 8 weeks starting June 26. Opportunities are available on market days to work at information booth, Kids Patch, assist with set-up and/or break- down of the market and help the vendors load and unload items. Information: Carrie Olson at 425-430-7214, clolson@rentonwa.gov National Day of Service September 8 In observance of National Day of Service and Remembrance, the City of Renton is partnering with local agencies to provide service opportunities for community members throughout the Renton area on Saturday, Sept 8. If you would like to be a volunteer on Saturday, September 8 from 9:00am to 12:00pm then we will find a project for you!
